HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Mom and I brought in the New Year together enjoying Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve. I had such a desire to go out and dance but you know, it was great to have Mom as my dance partner once again. Then I held her hand as the ball began to drop and did the countdown real loud. After yelling, "HAPPY NEW YEAR MOM AND MAY THE LORD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOUR SWEET HEART", I layed my hand on her head and said a prayer. No day is promised. I thank God for yet another memorable occasion with her. But my thirst for dancing will be quenched soon hopefully... I am planning to attend a Salsa gathering Sunday night. Wooo Hooo look out Cleveland. I am putting my dancing shoes on. I pray 2009 is better than any year you have ever had in your life!!! Live your dreams. Blessings always.

CALLING ALL BALLROOM DANCING ENTHUSIASTS

If you're like me you love watching "Dancing With The Stars". Are you a ballroom dancer at heart? Would you like an opportunity to learn more about ballroom dancing from some of the best in the industry and be amongst others that share your love of this art form? Imagine yourself ballroom dancing on The Queen Mary...that's right! Come on your own or gather some friends for 10 days in luxury with Cavana Ballroom's Suzanne & Jim on their Cruise in the Caribbean on Cunard's Queen Mary 2 (QM2) from November 30 to December 10, 2009. You have almost a year to plan.

The Queen Mary 2 has the largest ballroom at sea, with an abundance of dance hosts for the ladies; there is ballroom dancing every evening! The Queen Mary 2 provides you a realm of elegance like no other oceanliner ever built! It has the largest wine cellar at sea and the largest library too. The dicor is stupendous and rivals the most grandiose of the famous hotels around the world. This experience is the ULTIMATE in travel.

Leaving from NYC the trip to the Caribbean will take 2 days. Ports of Call will be Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Bridgetown, Barbados; St. George's, Grenada; Castries, St. Lucia; and Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas.

Contact me, Darlene, via info@darvacations.com for more details and to obtain an information sheet to help you get started on your way to this trip of a lifetime. The base rate, non-air, cruise only, is approximately $1,619.00 for an inside cabin, an ocean-view cabin starts at around $1,775.00 and balconies are available for around $1,895.00. There is a studio fee included in the prices. Suzanne and Jim will host activities on the ship, and different venues will be used by them to provide for group lessons. The schedule of activities will be published closer to departure since the availability of venues is at the pleasure of the Cunard cruise planners. The prices will be supplemented by fuel charges, government taxes and fees, air fees and the cost of insurance, which is highly recommended – this covers trip cancellation and trip interruption.

PASSPORTS will be required for this cruise. A good website for information about passports is: www.travel.state.gov
